Chanda Daly, President
Founder and President of the Enriched Escapes Foundation, combines her background as a former Security Compliance Program Manager with her expertise as the Founder of Enriched Escapes, a luxury travel company. Chanda brings strong organizational leadership, project management, and travel-planning experience to the foundation. Her professional skills, paired with her compassion and personal connection to the mission, uniquely equip her to lead initiatives that create meaningful travel experiences for adults facing late-stage cancer.
Edie Nehls Cappiello, Treasurer
Serves as the Director of Development at a leading global center for earth science research and education. She has dedicated her entire career to nonprofit work, holding leadership roles across a range of mission-driven organizations. In addition to her professional expertise, Edie has volunteered for nonprofits, contributing her time and skills in a variety of capacities. Her extensive experience in fundraising, governance, and organizational development brings invaluable insight and stability to the Foundation’s mission and growth.
Has a long history as a Senior Government Contracts Manager at a leading satellite communications company. With extensive experience in compliance, contract management, and organizational operations, she brings strong attention to detail and accountability to the board. Beyond her professional expertise, Lynette is known for her integrity, compassion, and big heart, qualities that align perfectly with the Foundation’s mission to bring comfort, joy, and connection to adults facing late-stage cancer.
Lynette Strick, Secretary
Dr. Amy Bremner, VP Medical Advisory
Amy is a talented Breast Surgical Oncologist and Medical Director of Breast Surgery Oncology. With extensive expertise in breast oncology and compassionate patient care, Dr. Bremner brings invaluable medical insight to the Foundation’s mission. Her deep understanding of the physical and emotional challenges faced by adults with late-stage cancer ensures that each Travel Wish is planned with sensitivity, safety, and respect for every individual’s unique journey.
Nancy Halladay, Parliamentarian
As the Founder of ND Design and ND Restore, a nonprofit organization, Nancy brings a wealth of leadership and governance experience to the board. With a long history of serving on various nonprofit boards, she has developed deep expertise in organizational structure, compliance, and strategic decision-making. Her entrepreneurial spirit, creative vision, and commitment to service help guide the Foundation with integrity and thoughtful direction as it fulfills its mission to bring meaningful travel experiences to adults facing late-stage cancer.
A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and the surviving spouse of Brent, whose story helped inspire the Foundation, Maria brings both professional expertise and a deeply personal connection to the mission. Having firsthand experience traveling with a loved one battling late-stage cancer, she understands the emotional and logistical complexities involved. Her compassion, insight, and practical knowledge allow her to guide applicants with empathy and care, ensuring each Travel Wish is both meaningful and thoughtfully supported.
Maria Brockman, VP Applicant & Family Advocate
Kirsten Kinney, Advisor
Kirsten brings a powerful blend of nonprofit leadership, professional expertise, and deep compassion to her advisory role with the Enriched Escapes Foundation. She currently works for a non-profit hospice in San Diego and has dedicated over a decade to mission-driven service, including long-standing involvement with Kids for Peace, where she currently serves as an Advisor to their Board.
Her background spans end-of-life doula training, marketing roles, and leadership positions such as Program Director and Board Member for Kids for Peace. With strengths in volunteer leadership, community engagement, and program development, along with communications and event experience, Kirsten offers invaluable guidance as the Foundation grows with integrity, purpose, and heart.
