By offering financial assistance, expert planning, and compassionate support, we make it possible for individuals, their chosen caregiver, and dependents to share cherished experiences beyond the weight of illness. Through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer efforts, we create unforgettable journeys that foster healing, renewal, and celebration of life. In partnership with airlines, hospitality providers, and vacation rental owners, we secure the accommodations, flights, and experiences that turn Travel Wishes into reality.

Foundation Inspiration
Honoring the Lives That Inspired the Enriched Escapes Foundation.

Barbara, the mother of EEF’s founder and the inspiration behind the Enriched Escapes Foundation, grew up near Disneyland but never had the financial means to return as an adult. She hadn’t been back in nearly 40 years. After being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, she shared that her greatest wish was to go back with her children and their families. Though it was difficult to find the money and plan the trip in between surgeries and treatments, we were able to make it happen, fulfilling a long-held dream. Surrounded by her family and the magic of Disney, she was free from worry and illness, if only for a few days. That trip brought her immense joy, gave her something to look forward to for months, and created cherished memories of love and connection that will remain in our hearts forever.

Brent, a friend of EEF's Founder since 2002, was a devoted husband and father whose life changed after being diagnosed with advanced cancer at age 45. As his health declined, he realized he likely did not have much time left, and he wanted to fulfill some Travel Wishes that he had yet to do with his family. With the help of Enriched Escapes, he was able to take family trips to Hawaii and New York City. These trips gave Brent and his family something to look forward to, time to escape their daily routines and reminders of his illness, and a chance to connect while creating lasting memories for the family.
While helping Brent plan two of his final family trips, we discovered how few resources exist for adults facing late-stage cancer to fund and organize meaningful Travel Wishes. His journey became the spark that ignited the Enriched Escapes Foundation (EEF). A mission born from friendship, love, and the deep belief that everyone battling late-stage cancer deserves the opportunity to finally take those long-dreamed-of trips that were so often put off for “someday.” EEF exists to help make those moments possible, creating space for connection, reflection, and lasting memories with the people they love most.
